Florida Rider Training Program Information
The Division of Driver Licenses promotes safety on the highways by licensing qualified drivers, controlling and improving problem drivers and ensuring vehicle owners and operators are responsible for injuries and damages they may cause in a crash on Florida's roadways. The Division also maintains records for driver evaluations. Included with the control and issuance of driver licenses, the Division of Driver Licenses approves, monitors and regulates DUI programs, Commercial Driving Schools, Driver Improvement Schools and Motorcycle Training Programs. All approved motorcycle training schools must be certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and use their curriculum. Motorcycle schools must also employ only nationally certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoaches. Motorcycle schools in Florida must also operate under contract with the State of Florida's Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicle's Florida Rider Training Program.
In addition to operating and abiding by the guidelines mandated by the Florida Rider Training Program, Florida Professional Motorcycle Training was started by and is operated by two former Florida Rider Training Program Regional Coordinators. Our teaching qualifications are second to none, and include MSF RiderCoach and MSF RiderCoach Trainer, as well as Northwestern University Police Motorcycle Instructor. We at Florida Professional Motorcycle Training feel strongly about what we do, what knowledge is required, as well as the skill level needed to safely operate a motorcycle.
Our mission is to offer our customers the most professional, stress-free and fun-filled motorcycle rider instruction to be found anywhere. Our goal is to help you reach your motorcycling potential, which will ultimately keep you safe on your motorcycling journeys!
